Azalea Residence Hall at Mississippi State University is a 412-bed facility that redefines student living by balancing individual privacy with vibrant community connection through an innovative pod-style layout of single-occupancy rooms. The five-story structure blends historic campus "Bulldog Architecture" with modern, daylight-filled glass lounge bridges. This ground floor serves as a bustling campus hub, housing a dining hall with a wood-fired pizza oven, a multipurpose event space and storm shelter, and the Luckyday Scholars Program's dedicated living and learning center. Outdoors, accessible pedestrian pathways weave directly through physical openings in the building's footprint, seamlessly maintaining vital cross-campus connections and creating inviting, furnished gathering spaces.
