St. Andrew’s Episcopal Lower School

The comprehensive redevelopment of the St. Andrew’s Episcopal School Lower School is a complete reimagining of the original 1966 facilities. Designed to match the school’s innovative, project-based instruction, the 135,000-square-foot facility introduces dynamic "learning neighborhoods" for first through fourth grades, equipped with interactive technology and shared collaborative spaces. At the heart of the reimagined campus is the new Penick Plaza, a secure, amphitheater-style outdoor classroom and gathering space. By choosing to rebuild on its original Fondren site, St. Andrew's has honored its historic commitment to the city of Jackson while building a modern, distraction-free environment that reflects the way children learn today.
