For Jack, architecture runs in the family – his maternal grandfather was an architect, and that early inspiration helped set him on the same path. He returned to Mississippi in 2012 to fulfill a longtime dream of practicing his own brand of architecture with classmates and friends Michael Boerner and Jamie Wier. Since then, he’s built a career around projects that leave a lasting mark on communities, from his very first job in New York City working on a masterplan for Brown University, to his favorite local project, the Chapel of St. Andrew the Apostle in Ridgeland, MS.
Born and raised in Jackson,MS Jack is a true local at heart – you’ll find him enjoying live music at Hal & Mal’s, a great meal at Walker’s Drive-In, or cookies from Campbell’s Bakery.
Outside the office, Jack is most energized by time with his family – whether it’s at home, traveling, or soon exploring Iceland together before his son heads off to college. He also makes time for solo miles on his road bike, a daily Wordle, and the occasional burger at Brent’s. Guided by advice that leaders don’t always have to be out front, Jack brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to the people he works with every day.
