For Dorothy, interior design is all about the details – color, pattern, texture, space planning, and furniture. She thrives when given the chance to bring it all together, especially on projects with big vision, bold finishes, and a client who trusts her creative instincts. Whether it’s hospitality, retail, Greek housing, or multifamily, Dorothy loves designing spaces full of life and personality.

A Jackson, MS native, Dorothy credits her love of design to growing up in a family of interior designers and decorators. She closely follows the best advice she has ever received to “trust your gut.” She is especially inspired by Italy – the architecture, the food, the art, and the culture – and says it’s her dream destination as both a traveler and a designer.

When she’s not creating colorful interiors, you’ll likely find Dorothy selecting furniture and fixtures for her new house, traveling with her husband and grown sons (plus their girlfriends), or just enjoying good food and exploring new places. For her, the best part of WBA is the people – working with smart, creative colleagues who make every project more rewarding.
