With more than 30 years in the field, David has shifted his focus from “drawing for a living” to mentoring the next generation. His favorite part of the job today is teaching and working alongside interns and those just out of college – sharing lessons learned over decades of projects both local and international. Among his career highlights: the Jones Headquarters at WBA and the USA Pavilion at the 2005 World’s Fair in Nagoya, Japan with his previous firm.

Outside the office, David values the simple things – enjoying watching his son grow up, the beach, a good local brewery (currently Fertile Ground), or cooking for friends on his charcoal grill. A self-proclaimed “flats only” wing enthusiast, he brings the same straightforward, approachable style to his leadership: easy to talk to, collaborative, and grounded. For David, good work, good people, and good food are what it’s all about.
