From an early age, Carolyn was captivated by the blend of logic and creativity in architecture. Her fascination began at age five with a scale model in her grandfather’s photography studio and grew through hands-on experiences — designing a home for a family friend at 12, building architectural models as a teen, and working on historical renovations in college. Originally from the Gulf Coast, she is passionate about creating walkable communities that integrate living, working, and play while making great design accessible to all.

Outside of work, Carolyn loves building community — whether through book clubs, deepening friendships with neighbors, or gathering around a fire with family. Some of her favorite memories include sailing on Mobile Bay and woodworking with her grandfather, particularly crafting a sailboat from scratch. Now, she’s excited to be part of a collaborative team at WBA, contributing to meaningful projects and continuing to learn and grow.
