Ryan Russell

For Ryan, design started with a love of drawing and sketching as a kid. That creative spark reignited in college, where he discovered a passion for designing unique buildings. Since then, he’s worked on projects like the Gulfport Multifamily Development and even helped design and build a tiny home in New Orleans during grad school – a milestone project that remains one of his proudest accomplishments.

Originally from San Clemente, California, Ryan grew up by the beach before making stops in Boulder, New Orleans, and now Nashville. His dream project? A vacation cabin tucked into the Colorado Rockies – combining his love of nature with thoughtful, creative design.

Outside of work, Ryan is usually outdoors – running along the Cumberland, hitting the golf course, or cheering on his favorite teams. He also enjoys tinkering with his new 3D printer, creating scale models of past projects and experimenting with fun prints.

Ryan brings the same energy and teamwork he once relied on in sports – like his favorite memory of winning the California state championship in football (he has a ring to prove it!) – to his role at WBA. For him, it’s all about the culture: working hard, supporting one another, and having fun while creating great design.
