We are seeking a proactive Construction Administrator with 5+ years professional job experience to join our team in our Jackson office. Come lead, learn, and grow with us!
Responsibilities:
- Lead construction administration efforts, including project management, review of shop drawings, submittals and supplemental instructions, site visits and quality control
- Participate in the documentation process by reviewing production drawings for quality control, editing/developing project narratives and specifications, and providing cost estimating/value engineering support
- Play a support role to the project manager on larger projects, or handle project management responsibilities during the CA phase, depending on project type, size, and fit
- Contribute to the overall quality and success of the firm through other duties and opportunities as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Architectural Engineering or Construction Management/Building Science from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years construction administration specific job-related experience; architectural or Construction experience both applicable
- Strong understanding of building systems and documentation
- Experience in other phases of architectural projects such as conceptual design, schematics, and design development is welcomed, but not required
- Demonstrated experience using Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Lumion, Google Workspace welcomed, but not required
- Strong communication, coordination, and organization skills
